INDIAN TEA - HISTORY & PAIRING
The idea of this workshop is to re-tell the story of Indian tea, it’s ancient history, and how it gradually evolved into what it is today. While the British had a very big hand in setting up the tea industry in India as part of their colonial agenda, tea was existing in India and thriving in ancient times as well. Also to throw a challenge to the notion that tea was “discovered” in China.
