Moé Kishida
Movement researcher, improviser, tea enthusiast
Moé is a movement researcher, improviser, Japanese tea enthusiast, and wanderer. Currently based in Montpellier, France, Moé is interested in the process of unlearning and is curious to explore how movement may facilitate connection and sense of belonging through a nonverbal state.
Moé obtained her RYT 200 from Lila Yoga Studios (State College, PA, USA) with Erica Kaufman in 2015. One aspect of yoga she appreciates is the ability to create space through the breath and movement. While always a student, Moé aspires to help practitioners find this unbiased spaciousness that is available to us all of the time (like the sky!).
She has diverse experience teaching yoga – in community yoga studios, for a yoga research study for prenatal women, university students, and even at international work camps.
While not actively teaching at the moment, COVID-19 has made her curious about how to build connection and community via online platforms. She is looking forward to exploring the dance between yoga and Japanese tea!
