“I started MyTeaPal as a side project in college, hoping to build something useful for the tea community. I didn’t find any good digital solutions for recording my tea journey, and I discovered many other tea enthusiasts who also struggled with that problem. So, I started designing and building a tea app which became MyTeaPal. After living in the US for seven years, I returned China last year to study all kinds teas, their processing techniques, and their culture. I hope to share my experience with more tea enthusiasts and connect the global tea community, and that’s why I started a tea club – MyTeaPal Club, where I curate a few specialty tea samples around a monthly theme.”
